UI Design
Because of the many examples of misinterpretation, defining a vast field like user interface can be difficult. While communicating, it’s also known as merely interface design. UI design is the process of converting wireframes into a graphic user interface.
Command Line Interface
In the 1970s, computer interaction was accomplished through the use of a common line interface. The interface was linear—the user typed a command and the machine responded appropriately. This was not as popular as it should have been since people ‘had to’ understand machine learning language in order to connect with computers.
User Interface in Graphics
This is the most prevalent sort of user interface; it enables users to interact with icons or any other graphical elements.
Voice-User Interface
A voice-user interface (VUI) enables spoken human interaction with computers by recognizing spoken instructions and questions and typing text to speech to play back a response. A voice command device (VCD) is a gadget that can be operated via voice.
UX Design
The term itself aids in understanding, yet a vast field like UX design necessitates greater depth. The goal of user experience design is to understand how users feel when they interact with an app, website, or product. What could be the cause of this? Why is this process necessary before creating a website or app? The primary objective for this is to better understand customer perception and the relationship between design, user research, and testing.
The five main principles of UX design are as follows:
- Architecture that is well-organized
- Design that focuses on interaction
- Design that is user-friendly
- Design that is visually appealing
- Planned user research
The ultimate goal of UX design is to provide consumers with an easy, relevant, and dependable experience that is also enjoyable. To summarize, UX design is not about graphics; rather, it is concerned with the total user experience.
